Tips
- The default is 10 systems with a 1.8 mm line gap and 12 mm between systems. For comfortable handwriting, widen the line gap to 2.5 mm and the system gap to 15 mm.
- Grand staff mode connects two staves for piano and organ scores. A brace appears on the left to join the upper and lower staff.
- Tab mode lets you pick the number of strings — 4, 5, or 6. Great for guitar, bass, and ukulele chord charts and licks.
- Set the barline count to divide each system into equally spaced measures. For drum notation, four measures per system is a common standard.
- Print at 100% scale with minimum margins so the line spacing comes out exactly at the millimeters you set.
